This workshop facilitated conversations on the development of a Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) strategy for biostimulatory substances in the Elkhorn Slough watershed. This meeting provided a summary of past nutrient modeling efforts and an overview of nutrient modeling that may occur over the next three years under a new State Water Board contract. This meeting was a joint effort between the Central Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board, the Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve, the Southern California Coastal Waters Research Project, and Tetra Tech Inc.
