Description

See also: Maritime Chaparral, Habitat RestorationThis field trip follows and is associated with our June 12th workshop "Defining and Delineating Maritime Chaparral on California's Central Coast." During this field excursion, attendees hear presenters describe and delineate areas of a variety of maritime chaparral communities from the very obvious, manzanita-dominated types to the somewhat more cryptic and from the most maritime and on inland... Goals of the field trip are: 1) participants are better able to recognize maritime chaparral and associated species, and 2) participants better understand the landscape context within which maritime chaparral is found.
